Role Overview
We are seeking a Recruitment Coordinator skilled in organization and critical thinking. The role requires basic computer proficiency and a preference for familiarity with social media platforms such as LinkedIn and Indeed. Communication skills are crucial as this position serves as the liaison between applicants and the hiring team. While the job is remote, candidates must reside locally within the Phoenix Metro area.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to understand and support recruitment strategies.
- Create and post job descriptions on online platforms and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Engage with various organizations and government agencies to source qualified candidates.
- Manage relationships with recruiting contacts and community partners.
- Coordinate with local colleges and technical schools regarding job board postings.
- Maintain and update the applicant database utilizing Workable software.
- Source new potential candidates proactively.
- Conduct phone preliminary screening of applicants.
- Arrange and coordinate interviews between applicants and hiring managers or clients.
- Keep the candidate tracker current on a daily basis.
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with both hiring managers and candidates.
- Stay actively informed on evolving recruitment trends.
- Perform assigned administrative tasks as needed.
- Format resumes as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of experience in recruiting.
- Familiarity with social media platforms related to recruiting.
- Capable of conducting various interview formats including in-person, online, and telephone.
- Preferred but not mandatory knowledge of HR databases and candidate management systems; training will be provided.
- Proficient in basic computer functions.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
