Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and reliable Quality Invigilator to monitor live online examinations for schools and various organizations, ensuring all exams adhere strictly to ETS policies, maintaining a secure and compliant testing environment. This role operates in a shift-based system covering 24/7 schedules, with transportation support provided for off-hour shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee live exam sessions to protect academic integrity.
- Authenticate candidates’ identities and verify eligibility alongside environmental compliance.
- Convey clear exam instructions before commencement.
- Identify and escalate any irregular or suspicious conduct during exams.
- Assist candidates with basic technical difficulties encountered during testing.
- Maintain ETS’s high standards for conduct, professionalism, and equitable treatment.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong attention to detail and keen observational skills.
- Exemplary integrity and unbiased approach.
- Basic proficiency in computer use, including hardware setup and driver verification.
- Effective, clear, and confident communication abilities.
- Patience and focus for monitoring prolonged exam sessions.
- Understanding and ability to explain examination rules accurately.
- Quick and precise typing skills to document incidents.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving aptitude.
- Willingness and ability to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends.
Educational and Professional Background
- Minimum educational qualification: Bachelor’s degree.
- At least one year of professional experience in online proctoring or in non-voice BPO roles.
