Quality Engineer - Qatari National

Role Overview

The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that the organization meets its quality standards. This includes spearheading continuous improvement projects through comprehensive data analysis, inspection, and testing initiatives. The role also involves promoting quality awareness throughout the organization by providing training and sharing best practices. Additionally, the Quality Engineer supports the Quality Manager by implementing KONE's quality strategy, governance, and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Prioritize initiatives to improve quality performance based on detailed data analysis.
• Apply continuous improvement techniques to investigate non-conformances, identify root causes, establish corrective actions, and follow through to resolution.
• Compile and analyze large datasets from various platforms to detect trends.
• Assist the Quality Manager in setting quality targets.
• Conduct in-process and final product inspections using standardized measurements, tests, sampling methods, and other procedures to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Maintain and update quality documentation in accordance with quality procedures.
• Disseminate knowledge of quality methodologies and tools across the organization and support capability development to implement learned quality standards and procedures.
• Support internal and external audits alongside the Quality Manager.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective actions within Quality Improvement teams under their responsibility.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a comparable Quality Engineer role is necessary.
• Must be highly motivated, goal-driven, diligent, and a well-organized self-starter with a strong customer service orientation.
• This position is exclusively open to Qatari nationals in accordance with current labor laws.
