Job Overview
Join Plastronics India as a Quality Assistant at our Chennai location, where you will ensure the quality standards of molded plastic parts through precise inspection and thorough documentation.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of molded plastic components using calipers, gauges, and micrometers to verify product specifications.
- Identify common defects in molding such as flash, sink marks, incomplete fills (short shots), warpage, and color inconsistencies.
- Assist in monitoring key machine parameters during production and accurately record shop-floor data as part of process support.
- Keep detailed daily records including inspection logs, reports of rejects, and material traceability documentation.
Additional Information
This role focuses heavily on quality assurance through hands-on part inspection and supporting manufacturing process documentation.
Compensation
The monthly salary range offered is between 25000 and 35000 INR.
