About the Role
This position is crucial in supporting medical and allied health providers delivering quality care to individuals with work-related injuries. Using your knowledge of the Return to Work scheme, you will convert scheme standards into actionable guidance, training, and resources that help providers and improve outcomes for injured workers. The role involves developing impactful learning programs, forging strong partnerships with provider groups, and continuously enhancing educational tools based on real-world insights and industry feedback. Focused on excellent service and collaborative provider engagement, this role significantly contributes to better recovery and return-to-work results.
Key Responsibilities
You will enhance the capabilities and effectiveness of medical, allied health, and return to work service providers within the scheme by:
- Proactively engaging providers and managing relationships to support understanding of scheme obligations.
- Offering practical assistance to navigate challenges and ensure delivery of high-quality services.
- Designing, delivering, and refining education and support programs, including maintaining online learning modules.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and innovating improvements.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with provider organisations and associations to understand and meet their needs.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure consistent and improved service delivery across the scheme.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates are excellent communicators and relationship builders with prior experience supporting medical or allied health providers within the South Australian Return to Work scheme. You must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple priorities while delivering clear and engaging training resources. Proactivity in understanding provider challenges and crafting practical solutions to boost service quality is essential. Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to collaborate well internally, are required. Experience specific to the South Australian Return to Work scheme is mandatory. While a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or workers’ compensation experience is advantageous, it is not required.
Special Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is mandatory due to the need for travel to meet clients.
- A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is desirable but not compulsory.
Compensation and Benefits
The role offers a base salary starting from $101,481 annually, exclusive of superannuation. Additional benefits include:
