Project Support Engineer

Role Overview

Ledvore invites applications for a Project Support Engineer position located at our Coimbatore facility to support an international client specializing in automotive solutions. The role focuses on managing customer portal interactions, facilitating communications with overseas clients, and preparing relevant technical documents.

Primary Duties

• Oversee activities on customer portals including supplier platforms by tracking RFQs, sourcing events, and resolving open tasks to completion.
• Act as the primary interface for international clients, mainly within the automotive industry.
• Bridge communications between the client’s European/US customers and internal engineering or technical teams.
• Assist with technical proposals and quotation processes by closely collaborating with engineering groups.
• Manage multiple client accounts concurrently, maintaining efficiency under tight deadlines.
• Establish and nurture enduring relationships with clients abroad.
• Utilize artificial intelligence-based tools to enhance communication, reporting, and portal efficiency.

Candidate Profile

• Possess 3 to 5 years' experience in customer-facing sales or technical roles, preferably in automotive or industrial B2B sectors.
• Demonstrate proficiency in managing international customers, especially from Europe and/or North America.
• Exhibit excellent proficiency in both oral and written English communication.
• Have a mechanical engineering educational background, with basic knowledge of CAD technologies.
• Showcase strong multitasking abilities and organizational skills.
• Be adept at navigating digital customer and sourcing portals.

Additional Advantages

• Experience with automotive supplier portals such as Ford/Covisint or SAP Ariba.
• Familiarity with AI productivity tools.
• Possession of project management certifications like PMP or CAPM is favorable but not required.
• Note: This is a full-time committed role based onsite at Ledvore’s Coimbatore location handling an international client account.
