Job Overview

The role of the Supply Chain Management (SCM) Project Manager involves spearheading continual improvements and enhancing efficiency within Jabil's global price administration system. The manager will oversee indirect teams focused on elevating global supply chain operations and related software.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the purchasing teams to implement pricing strategies that enhance efficiency in Jabil's global price administration and maintain competitive advantage in supply chain management.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with purchasing departments and suppliers to apply updated negotiated prices effectively.
• Monitor supply chain metrics that measure successful performance.
• Coordinate efforts with Supply Chain and Purchasing teams to resolve supply-related issues.
• Gain expertise in the Supply Chain tools involved in global price administration ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Track, manage, and communicate any changes or improvements in Supply Chain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Support Business Units in detecting opportunities to reduce costs of sourced components.
• Collaborate with the Legal Department to ensure legal protections such as non-disclosure agreements are in place to protect confidential information and intellectual property.
• Demonstrate measurable return on investment for any updates or enhancements made to supply chain tools or processes.
• Comply with safety, health guidelines, and company security policies as directed.
• Carry out any other duties or responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications and Knowledge

• Familiarity with Jabil’s Supply Chain Management software.
• Capability to define software requirements and prepare procedural documentation.
• Proficiency in presenting information and training to groups and responding to queries effectively.
• Strong skills in problem solving, analytics, negotiation, project management, and interpersonal communication.
• Competence in identifying problems, gathering and analyzing data, summarizing information, and drawing valid conclusions.
• Aptitude for calculations involving discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and measurements.
• Problem-solving skills even when limited information is available.
• Ability to interpret diverse instructions in various formats including written, oral, diagrams, or schedules.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure with dynamic priorities and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and email.
