About the Role
Inplex Pte Ltd is looking for a skilled Project Manager to join their team based in Singapore Central Region. This full-time role is crucial for managing construction projects from the initial phase through to completion. The Project Manager will ensure projects are completed on schedule, within the set budget, and meet high-quality standards. Acting as the central point of contact, the manager will coordinate between clients, contractors, and internal teams while guaranteeing adherence to safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organise, and supervise all aspects of construction projects to meet timelines, budgets, and quality criteria.
- Create comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and plans allocating resources efficiently.
- Track project progress and implement necessary corrective measures to keep projects on track.
- Handle contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors, including negotiating and managing agreements.
- Perform site inspections and safety audits to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Keep complete project documentation such as progress reports, change orders, and financial records.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members to relay updates and resolve concerns.
- Identify potential project risks and apply mitigation strategies as required.
- Verify that all work complies with quality standards and building codes prior to final handover.
- Manage variations and change requests while ensuring project scope and budget control.
Candidate Profile
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience managing construction projects.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver projects within time and budget constraints.
- In-depth understanding of construction techniques, materials, and building regulations.
- Expertise in project planning and scheduling with proficiency in project management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong financial skills including budgeting and controlling costs.
- Leadership skills capable of motivating and managing project teams effectively.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental standards in construction.
- Professional certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent project management qualifications are a plus.
