About the Role
Lead the execution of vital Three Waters, highways, and civil infrastructure projects throughout the Wellington region for an industry-leading civil contractor. Key Responsibilities
- Manage entire project lifecycle from initial planning to final account settlement.
- Develop project programmes and coordinate resources and site teams effectively.
- Administer contracts, including handling variations, progress claims, and cost control measures.
- Build and maintain good client and stakeholder relationships, providing clear and timely reporting.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards on all sites.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to site-based personnel as needed.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience managing Three Waters, utilities, or highways projects within the civil contracting industry.
- Sound knowledge of New Zealand construction contracts, preferably NZS3910.
- Background in civil engineering, construction management, or trade skills combined with project management experience.
- Strong communication abilities and excellent stakeholder and client engagement skills.
- Highly organised, proactive problem solver able to juggle multiple priorities.
- Possess a full New Zealand driver's licence and legal right to work in New Zealand.
