Project Engineer

Job Overview

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the construction site, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations as directed by the Project Manager. You will plan, supervise, and monitor work schedules based on master and detailed programs to meet project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations related to the project construction on site as designated by the Project Manager.
• Develop and oversee implementation of work schedules aligned with the master plan and detailed work program.
• Assist in planning and sequencing construction activities following the Project Quality Plan standards.
• Coordinate with client representatives present on site and manage interactions with all subcontractors.
• Perform inspections and thorough evaluations of work done by subcontractors to ensure compliance and quality.
• Assist in identifying, evaluating, and resolving any construction-related discrepancies or issues that affect work quality.
• Ensure all up-to-date drawings, including shop drawings, are appropriately used throughout the construction process.
• Oversee the handover of completed works to the client and ensure any required rectifications are completed satisfactorily.
• Compile and prepare project-related reports as requested by the Project Manager.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess an approved degree recognized by the Professional Engineers Board or the Institution of Engineers Singapore.
• Residual Engineer certification is advantageous and preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in the field is required.
