Program V&V Designer

About the Role

We are seeking a Program V&V Designer for an embedded software engineering environment in Bengaluru. The role focuses on verification, validation, testing, and traceability for software components and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out module-level testing and software integration testing for embedded software applications.
• Create, run, and update test cases and test procedures using the software requirements as the baseline.
• Perform verification and validation activities in line with project expectations and quality requirements.
• Work with RTRT (Rational Test RealTime) and VectorCast to support unit testing and test automation.
• Review test outcomes, log defects, assist in fixing issues, and keep test evidence, documentation, and traceability records current.

Required Skills and Experience

• 8 to 10 years of experience in embedded software verification, validation, and testing.
• Hands-on exposure to verification and validation for embedded software programs.
• Working knowledge of D0178B, along with Ada/Ada 95 or C programming for embedded development and testing.
• Experience in component testing and software integration testing for embedded systems.
• Strong execution discipline aligned with the SDLC, testing methods, documentation, and traceability practices.
• Functional testing experience for embedded software validation is considered an advantage.

Education

Eligible candidates should have a B.E., B.Tech, or B.Tech M.Tech (Dual) degree in any branch.
