Production Officer

Role Overview

The Production Officer will oversee the daily operations in agrochemical manufacturing, ensuring production schedules are met with adherence to quality and compliance standards. This role requires hands-on involvement on the shop floor and collaboration across multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily batch processing according to planned schedules.
• Ensure strict compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and coordinate with Quality Control for in-process and finished goods inspections.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date production documentation, including Batch Manufacturing Records and daily production reports, ensuring audit readiness.
• Ensure labeling and dispatch processes comply with regulations set by CIB&RC and the State Agriculture Department.
• Collaborate effectively with Stores, Quality Control, Dispatch, and HR/Admin teams to facilitate smooth operations.
• Train and supervise plant workers on standard operating procedures and safety protocols.

Qualifications and Experience

• Must possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture.
• Open to fresh graduates or candidates with up to 3 years of experience.
• Willingness to work on the shop floor with rotational shifts, handling agrochemical materials.
• Basic computer literacy, especially in MS Excel and Word, for production reporting tasks.

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory)

• Internship or academic exposure related to crop protection or formulation.
• Familiarity with GMP and ISO standards.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements specific to agrochemical manufacturing.
