Role Overview
As a full-time Product Manager based in Lagos State, Nigeria, with a hybrid working model (onsite and remote), you will spearhead the development and management of WiCool's suite of cooling, ice supply, and cold chain products. Your core responsibilities will include crafting the product strategy, prioritizing features, coordinating cross-disciplinary teams including engineering, operations, sales, and finance, and driving the timely release of product updates. You will also collect and analyze customer feedback and operational data, conduct experiments to refine products, and enhance their accessibility, performance, and profitability. Additionally, you will assist in go-to-market strategies, communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring product initiatives align with the company’s mission and commercial objectives.
Qualifications
- Strong capabilities in product management encompassing strategy formulation, roadmap creation, requirement specification, and stakeholder coordination.
- Proficiency in data-informed decision-making through market research, customer insights, metric evaluation, and experimental validation.
- Effectiveness in collaborative work across diverse teams such as engineering, operations, sales, marketing, and finance.
- Experience or background in logistics, supply chain, energy sectors, hardware, or service-driven business models considered highly advantageous.
- Superior communication, presentation, and documentation skills to clearly articulate complex ideas to varied audiences.
- Proven ability to thrive in dynamic, rapidly expanding environments managing multiple priorities and adhering to deadlines.
- Experience engaging with African markets or emerging economies, with understanding of local business landscapes and customer expectations is a plus.
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field; further education or certifications in product management are beneficial.
- Comfort and adaptability to hybrid work scenarios involving both on-site presence in Lagos and remote work capabilities.
