About the Role

Join IDEXX as a Product Manager focusing on pioneering veterinary software platforms, including the forefront product Vello. Positioned in a collaborative setting, you will be instrumental in directing software solutions that link veterinary practices with pet owners and enhance animal care delivery.

The Veterinary Software division has grown from a diagnostic-support service into a strategic core offering, serving tens of thousands of clinics globally. Our software streamlines workflows, diagnostic interpretation, patient coordination, and bolsters pet owner connections. You will contribute to developing the next generation of this platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead innovation, development, and launch of veterinary software products.
• Define and guide the user experience related to appointment scheduling and client engagement within Vello.
• Conduct market and user research to uncover client needs and opportunities for product upgrades.
• Serve as the product visionary and advisor within the organization.
• Develop and refine business cases balancing customer value with profitability.
• Maintain and prioritize the product backlog with clear, quality user stories and requirements.
• Manage Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and backlog refinement.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and marketing for quality product delivery.
• Support engineering teams throughout the development cycle.
• Report on product progress, insights, and performance metrics to stakeholders.
• Measure product success using data and customer feedback.
• Coordinate cross-team dependencies in a scaled Agile environment.
• Create comprehensive product strategies and roadmaps including investment prioritization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Proven track record as a Product Manager, leading products through their lifecycle.
• Experience in B2B or B2B2C product environments.
• Exceptional ability to gather, prioritize, and clearly communicate product requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication proficiency.
• Effective problem solver with proactive, hands-on approach.
• Experience collaborating in matrixed teams.
• Familiarity with SaaS/platform products and Agile methodologies.
• Background in healthcare, veterinary, or related sectors preferred.
