This opportunity is for a skilled Product Designer to enhance the software interface of a new hardware offering. You will coordinate with the IDC product management and global design teams to maintain consistent design standards while adapting solutions to local market needs.

Primary Duties

• Develop user-centric, intuitive software interfaces adhering to HP’s global design frameworks.
• Engage with product management, engineering, and marketing teams to capture and refine design requirements aligned with product objectives.
• Collaborate closely with engineering to communicate clear design specifications, ensuring uniform implementation.
• Work with independent software vendors and partners to integrate white-labeled software solutions harmoniously within HP’s design guidelines.
• Maintain continuous communication with the global design team to uphold brand consistency across all touchpoints.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Product Design, Interaction Design, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating cohesive and user-friendly designs, particularly for the Android platform.
• Proven ability to apply global design standards within localized project contexts favored.
• Proficiency with design software such as Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch.
• Knowledge of motion design and incorporating sound elements in design is a plus.
• Understanding of integrating hardware and software ecosystem design principles.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
