About the Role

Working as a Produce Stocker at Walmart Canada offers an excellent opportunity to enhance your retail and customer service skills. As part of your duties, you will maintain the quality and presentation of the produce section, provide outstanding customer assistance, and support stocking and sales activities while upholding Walmart’s core values.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain the produce department area.
• Rotate inventory and inspect stock for expiry dates.
• Ensure all merchandise is accurately signed and priced.
• Comply strictly with procedures related to cold chain management, thermometer calibration, temperature monitoring, proper food handling, product rotation, sell-by and expiration dates.
• Follow hygiene, sanitation, and cleaning protocols to maintain food safety standards.
• Execute ordering, clearance, pricing adjustments, labeling, and signage tasks as required.
• Keep the department fully stocked and prepared for customer business hours.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
• Handle stocking activities such as picking merchandise, downstocking where applicable, applying product protection, and setting up modular displays, including flexible and new shelf cap modules.

Compensation

The starting wage for this position is $18.55 per hour.

Minimum Qualifications

• Applicant must be at least 16 years of age.
