About the Role
Join a vibrant Transport and Infrastructure team focused on delivering impactful projects across the Asia Pacific, including roads, bridges, tunnels, water treatment, and renewable energy sectors. Our New South Wales Infrastructure division primarily designs roads, bridges, drainage, and civil engineering projects, with expanding interests in water, sewerage treatment, and energy transmission ventures.
We are seeking a seasoned Principal Geotechnical Engineer to act as a technical expert, market leader, and mentor within our team. This role offers involvement in medium to large scale projects mainly located around Brisbane or Sydney, with opportunities across New Zealand, Australia, and the Pacific region.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert geotechnical design guidance for multidisciplinary projects
- Manage project work planning and financial aspects
- Lead and collaborate with design teams on various regional projects
- Expand and nurture client and industry relationships to support business growth
- Prepare compelling proposals to secure new business
- Cultivate a learning culture through continuous professional development
- Coach and mentor junior engineers to foster career development
Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will be a chartered civil or geotechnical engineer with a robust consulting or contracting background, proven leadership abilities, strong project execution skills, and a passion for mentoring others.
