Overview
FedEx Logistics is seeking a Pricing Specialist Airfreight to join their team in Mörfelden-Walldorf, Germany. This role involves the daily creation of airfreight pricing offers and analysis, as well as collaborating across departments to optimize rate structures within an international logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare daily airfreight price quotations and conduct pricing calculations.
- Handle and analyze customer inquiries and tenders.
- Maintain tariffs and input rate agreements into relevant systems.
- Coordinate pricing strategies with local and global sales teams and the broader FedEx network, including recommending sales approaches.
- Produce statistical reports and carry out data analyses.
- Support procurement activities and customer service functions.
Candidate Profile
- Completed commercial training, such as freight forwarding and logistics clerk qualification.
- At least three years of professional experience in airfreight.
- Familiarity with Cargowise customs clearance software is advantageous.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Fluent in German and English languages.
- Cost-conscious with customer and team-oriented mindset.
- Demonstrated teamwork and social skills in an international setting.
- Open to customer needs and flexible regarding service delivery.
- Strong analytical ability and numerical proficiency.
