Role purpose

This position is focused on creating outstanding, individualised guest experiences through polished concierge, porter, and lobby support. The role also requires maintaining high hospitality standards, a professional appearance, and smooth day-to-day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests in a friendly, personalised manner, address them by name when possible, stay alert to their needs, and respond to requests quickly and professionally.
• Support arrivals and departures by handling baggage, escorting guests to rooms, assisting with valet parking where available, and sharing information about hotel amenities, services, and nearby attractions.
• Serve as an informed point of contact for guest guidance, including tour reservations, transport coordination, local suggestions, and clear responses to enquiries.
• Keep the lobby and guest-facing areas tidy, organised, and aligned with the standards expected of a premium hotel environment.
• Coordinate effectively with other departments, manage mail and parcels, participate in training, handle concerns with professionalism, and help ensure a safe, smooth, and memorable stay.

Candidate profile

• Prior experience in hospitality or hotels is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine focus on guest service are essential.
• Good knowledge of the local area and nearby attractions is important.
• A valid driver’s licence is required, along with the flexibility to work different shifts.
• Applicants should be organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a busy setting.
