PLSQL Developer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced PLSQL Developer to join our team in Hyderabad, specializing in Oracle 19c database development within the Banking and Finance sector. This role involves developing, tuning, and optimizing various Oracle database components and collaborating with multiple teams to deliver efficient and scalable database solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement Oracle database objects including tables, views, stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
• Collaborate with CIO and business stakeholders to collect and understand database requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Optimize and fine-tune Oracle PLSQL code and database performance to ensure high responsiveness and stability.
• Monitor, detect, and resolve database issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain system reliability.
• Maintain detailed documentation on database design, development processes, deployment procedures, and change management.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute constructive feedback to enhance code quality.
• Stay informed about the latest Oracle database technologies and best practices including performance tuning and query optimization.
• Ensure compliance with data security policies and governance standards.
• Mentor and support junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Assist with data migration and upgrade tasks, focusing on mitigating data issues.
• Work closely with application developers and QA teams to guarantee integrated and quality solutions.
• Contribute to ongoing database architecture discussions and suggest possible improvements.

Required Skills and Expertise

• Expertise in Oracle PLSQL coding and development including understanding of collections and bulk data processing.
• Strong knowledge in creating and managing database objects such as functions, procedures, packages, triggers, and views.
• Solid experience in database tuning and performance optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with Oracle SQL Loader and database modeling tools.
• Understanding of indexing, segmentation, and pipeline functions for enhanced query performance.

Educational and Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should hold a B.Tech/B.E. degree in any specialization or be a graduate in any discipline.
