About the Company

The organization aims to innovate sustainable food production and minimize waste through circular agricultural technologies. Among their major undertakings is the development of an advanced warehouse construction project named "GigaFarm" within Dubai's Food Tech Valley, spanning 900,000 square feet. This facility incorporates vertical farming towers and a closed-loop ecosystem designed to optimize resource use, eliminate waste, and reduce the food industry's carbon footprint.
Role Overview
The Planner will play a critical role in managing the timelines of large-scale construction initiatives, particularly warehouse projects. This role's core responsibility is to design, oversee, and fine-tune detailed project schedules that ensure construction milestones are met efficiently and within planned timeframes.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and regularly update detailed scheduling plans that align with current project statuses and ongoing execution.
- Continuously track and compare site progress against established baseline schedules to guarantee timely milestone completion.
- Detect risks of delays early and effectively devise and implement recovery strategies to maintain project momentum.
- Prepare comprehensive progress reports for internal leadership and external stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least five years of professional experience as a project planner or similar role focused on project controls in the construction sector.
- Expert-level skillset and familiarity with prominent project scheduling software, notably Primavera and Microsoft Project.
- Strong analytical capacity combined with proactive problem detection and resolution skills alongside excellent communication abilities for reporting.
