Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Photographer to become an integral part of our in-house Photography Team. This position offers the chance to produce impactful, high-quality imagery across diverse projects including product launches, lifestyle and fitness campaigns, studio shoots, athlete activations, corporate events, and on-location productions. Close collaboration with the Director of Photography and creative teams is essential to maintain and elevate the brand’s visual standards.

The Photographer’s schedule is varied, encompassing studio photography, event coverage, set preparation, equipment management, image editing, and frequent travel. The position requires adaptability, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to quality, offering an opportunity to develop one’s craft and contribute to meaningful, recognized creative work.

Responsibilities

• Create compelling commercial, lifestyle, fitness, product, editorial, and event photographs.
• Work alongside the Director of Photography to implement creative concepts and detailed shot plans.
• Support lighting setup, set arrangement, equipment handling, and studio organization.
• Manage photography equipment preparation, packing, transport, and maintenance for on-site and remote sessions.
• Document corporate events, athlete features, product launches, and various campaigns.
• Perform photo culling, color correction, retouching, organization, exporting, and final delivery of images.
• Ensure consistency with brand aesthetics throughout photography and post-production stages.
• Coordinate multiple projects and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
• Maintain clear communication with team members, talent, leadership, and partners.
• Take comprehensive ownership of assignments from planning through final output.
• Regularly travel and work during evenings, early mornings, and weekends as required for productions and events.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in commercial, lifestyle, editorial, fitness, event, and product photography.
• A robust portfolio showcasing mastery in lighting, composition, color use, and storytelling.
• Advanced proficiency with professional camera equipment, lighting tools, and studio production practices.
• Strong editing and retouching capabilities using Adobe software.
• Exceptional attention to detail during shooting, file management, editing, and delivery phases.
• Ability to accept feedback constructively and adapt accordingly.
• Independent work ethic balanced with positive teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Resourceful problem-solving attitude and composure under pressure.
• Willingness to continually learn and grow professionally.
• Interest or background in fitness, sports, nutrition, or lifestyle sectors is advantageous.

Experience & Education

• Preferably three or more years of professional photography experience.
• Experience in commercial or in-house brand photography strongly preferred.
• Submission of a professional photography portfolio is mandatory.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; formal education in photography or related fields is a plus but not required.

Work Location & Schedule

• Position based onsite at the 1st Phorm headquarters in Fenton, Missouri.
• This role is not remote; presence at the location is required.
• Standard work hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with additional availability needed for evenings, early mornings, weekends, and travel related to productions and events.
• Regular travel including overnight and multi-day trips is expected.
