Part-Time Cleaner

About the Role

Royal York Property Management is a leading property management company in Canada, overseeing thousands of residential rental units in Ontario. We are currently seeking dependable and detail-focused Cleaners to expand our team of cleaning experts.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning for move-in and move-out residential units.
• Handle detailed turnover cleaning for vacant apartments and houses.
• Provide routine housekeeping services in occupied homes when needed.
• Clean various areas including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living rooms, floors, and other common surfaces.
• Execute intricate cleaning tasks such as washing baseboards, interiors of cabinets, and appliance interiors.
• Utilize a mobile work application to obtain assignments, follow instructions, use GPS for navigation, upload photos, and update job status.
• Carefully inspect work before departure to ensure it meets company cleaning standards.
• Report any property damage, maintenance issues, or surfaces that cannot be effectively cleaned.
• Travel independently between appointments using a personal vehicle.

Requirements

• At least two years of compensated professional cleaning experience.
• Familiarity with both move-in/move-out cleanings and routine housekeeping tasks.
• Own a dependable vehicle for traveling to appointments and transporting cleaning supplies.
• Possession of personal cleaning supplies and equipment necessary for residential cleaning jobs.
• Have a smartphone capable of running mobile work applications, GPS navigation, taking clear images, reading instructions, and updating assignments.
• Comfortable cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, floors, baseboards, cabinets, appliances, and other detailed areas.
• Ability to work independently and follow specific cleaning guidelines.
• Basic proficiency in English communication.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to comply with GPS-checked arrival times.
