Over-the-Counter Associate

Position Overview

The Over-the-Counter Associate is responsible for assisting customers, organizing and maintaining their designated area, executing tasks assigned by the OTC Department or Pharmacy Manager, and ensuring product displays are attractive and well presented, all while delivering excellent customer service aligned with Walmart's core values.

Key Duties

• Ensure patient privacy by strictly adhering to confidentiality standards and the Privacy Act regulations.
• Support department sales and profitability with guidance from the Pharmacy Manager.
• Conduct regular stock rotation and verify expiry dates to maintain product quality.
• Keep the department orderly by zoning and maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Properly follow procedures related to ordering, marking clearances, price adjustments, labeling, and flagging products.
• Maintain all areas free from clutter, fixtures, debris, foreign materials, and liquids to uphold safety and presentation.
• Achieve zero pricing errors by complying with the Scanning Credibility Program.
• Calibrate equipment utilized in the prescription filling process to ensure accuracy and functionality.

Compensation

The position offers a starting hourly wage of $17.75.
