Operations Manager (Europe)

About the Role

A2F Consulting LLC, a global advisory firm specializing in financial and private sector development in emerging markets, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and enhance operational performance for its German and Portuguese branches. Established in 2007, A2F Consulting has a global footprint with offices in Washington D.C., Frankfurt, Montreal, and Lisbon. This role demands strategic leadership, excellent organizational capabilities, and the ability to manage diverse teams while supporting the firm's growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations, including project oversight, resource allocation, quality assurance, and the efficient deployment of human, financial, and technological resources.
• Create and maintain organizational frameworks and procedures that promote smooth, compliant, and continuously improving operations, particularly in knowledge management.
• Lead financial management activities by developing and overseeing operational budgets, monitoring financial results, identifying cost efficiencies, and collaborating on budgeting, forecasting, and reporting with the finance team.
• Direct human resources functions including recruitment, performance assessments, employee growth, engagement initiatives, employee relations, and legal compliance in labor matters.
• Establish and nurture strong client and stakeholder relationships within Germany and the European Union, ensuring satisfaction, high-quality consulting services, and identifying opportunities for business development and client growth.
• Champion technological and innovative advancements, supporting AI integration efforts to improve efficiency, keeping updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, and promoting a culture of innovation and experimentation.
• Partner with the CEO in strategic planning and growth efforts focused on the German and EU markets, aligning operational strategies with company goals.

Qualifications

• Over a decade of managerial and professional experience.
• Master's or PhD in economics, business administration, engineering, or related disciplines, with preference for advanced degrees.
• Demonstrated success in senior leadership roles with direct personnel management responsibility.
• Strong business insight, strategic acumen, and exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to build and lead effective teams within dynamic, multicultural environments.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Experience in consulting or financial services sectors is desirable.
• Familiarity with project management platforms, CRM, and ERP systems is advantageous.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of French, Spanish, or Portuguese is beneficial.

Compensation and Additional Details

• Annual base salary ranging from EUR 75,000 to EUR 125,000, determined by experience.
• Potential to earn up to a 25% performance bonus.
