Operations Analyst - Entry to Mid Level

About the Role

We are looking for a meticulous and analytical Operations Analyst to enhance business operations through data analysis, process optimization, and performance tracking. This position plays a vital role in pinpointing inefficiencies, streamlining workflows, and delivering actionable insights to boost operational efficiency and overall business results.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine operational data to uncover patterns, inefficiencies, and potential improvement areas.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop operational reports as well as dashboards.
• Assess current business processes and suggest changes aimed at increasing efficiency and reducing costs.
• Assist in automating processes, optimizing workflows, and driving continuous improvement efforts.
• Conduct thorough root cause analysis of operational challenges and recommend effective solutions.
• Work collaboratively with teams across operations, finance, logistics, HR, and management.
• Contribute to forecasting, capacity planning, and managing resource allocation.
• Maintain precise operational data, documentation, and reporting frameworks.
• Compile and present reports to assist management decision-making.
• Support the execution of operational projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing performance.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and adherence to internal quality standards.
• Perform special analyses as needed to inform strategic and operational choices.

Candidate Requirements

• Preferred background in operations, business or data analysis, consulting, finance, logistics, or related disciplines.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including data analysis, pivot tables, and reporting.
• Experience or familiarity with analytics tools like Power BI, Tableau, or SQL is a plus.
• High attention to detail and capability to work with sizable datasets.
• Strong communication and presentation talents.
• Ability to identify and drive process improvements and implement effective solutions.
• Effective organizational skills to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Self-motivated and able to collaborate within a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree preferably in Business Administration, Operations Management, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, Engineering, Statistics, or a comparable field.
