Job description
Position Overview
The Nutritional Service Associate role involves working 12-hour shifts during weekdays and being available to work every other weekend from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM at St. Mary's Hospital in Athens, GA.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparation, serving, and cleaning of patient tray lines and cafeteria food services.
- Ensure food preparation adheres to specified recipes and maintain strict cleanliness standards.
- Follow routine work schedules and adhere to departmental and system operating procedures.
- Complete all assigned tasks thoroughly and promptly.
- Demonstrate initiative and sound judgment in performing daily responsibilities.
- Prioritize tasks effectively and resolve issues as needed.
Qualifications and Experience
- High school diploma is preferred but not mandatory.
- Previous experience in hospital or extended care settings is advantageous but not required.
