Job Overview

We are looking for a meticulous and analytical Maximo/EAMS Technician to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will oversee and optimize our Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) to ensure efficient maintenance and asset reliability throughout operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and resolve issues within the IBM Maximo or equivalent EAMS platform.
• Design and deploy asset management strategies aimed at boosting operational efficiency.
• Administrate work orders, schedule preventive maintenance, and manage asset records.
• Produce reports and analyze system data to pinpoint trends and areas needing improvement.
• Work closely with maintenance staff to maintain accurate and prompt data entries.
• Offer technical assistance and user training relating to EAMS functionalities.
• Implement timely system upgrades and enhancements as required.
• Ensure the integrity of data and maintain optimal database performance.
• Prepare and maintain documentation on standard operating procedures related to EAMS.
• Support integration efforts of the EAMS with other enterprise systems.

Required Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Between 3 to 5 years experience with IBM Maximo or a comparable Enterprise Asset Management System.
• Comprehensive knowledge of asset management principles and preventative maintenance practices.
• Experience handling database management and SQL queries.
• Familiarity with managing work order systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Experience within industrial or facilities maintenance environments is preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
