Department Overview
Markets Operations operates across ten countries, providing essential operational support for global business activities such as pre- and post-settlement, trade control, and documentation. Our Singapore office serves as Headquarters and Centre of Excellence, centralizing many operational functions for APAC offices. We are committed to transforming our processes via automation, re-engineering, and straight-through processing for improved efficiency.
Role Description
- Ensure treasury product trades executed by Business Units are accurately confirmed and mutually agreed with counterparties or clients.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies collaboratively with internal and external parties.
- Create detailed confirmations (long-form) or SWIFT messages as needed.
- Manage queries and escalations promptly to resolution.
- Build and nurture strong working relationships with stakeholders and clients.
- Lead efforts in process enhancements and system automation to boost operational efficiency.
- Encourage innovative ways of working to deliver faster, higher quality, and cost-effective internal and external customer service.
- Participate in projects, business initiatives, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Adhere strictly to departmental and bank-wide operational risk management and regulatory standards.
- Contribute to team development through documentation, training, coaching, idea generation, and fostering a positive work environment.
Requirements
- Degree qualification preferred.
- Familiarity with treasury products such as Commodities, Securities Lending, and FICC products is desirable.
- Solid understanding of front-to-back trade operational procedures; post-settlement experience with treasury products is an advantage.
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills, adaptability, and accountability.
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced workplace.
- Innovative approach focused on continuous efficiency improvements.
- Competent in Microsoft Office applications.

- Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays as required.
- The position requires 100% on-site presence at our Tampines office.
