Role Summary

The Manufacturing Technician position involves hands-on work within a cleanroom, assembling and testing complex, high-value wafer fabrication and display manufacturing equipment. Responsibilities include building, repairing, and inspecting electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic components and subassemblies. Ensuring quality standards through detailed audits and testing with various diagnostic devices is essential. You will also maintain accurate documentation and support continuous process enhancements, including software installation and repairs as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and execute work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, and part lists to assemble, repair, and test electrical and mechanical systems.
• Conduct electro-mechanical assembly, troubleshoot issues, and perform corrective repairs promptly.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols, maintaining a clean and hazard-free work environment while attending ongoing safety training.
• Operate testing apparatus such as electronic measurement tools, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps to assess assemblies and ensure operational integrity.
• Document all work progress, expenses, and labor details accurately using computer systems. Perform software updates or programming when required to enhance equipment functionality.
• Procure and audit parts inventory to verify availability and quality, reducing defects and improving assembly efficiency.

Requirements

• Educational qualification of ITE or Diploma.
• Prior experience in semiconductor manufacturing, electronics assembly, or related industries.
• Capability to work effectively within a cleanroom setting.
• Strong adherence and ability to follow written and verbal standard operating procedures.
• Proficient in using basic hand tools for assembly tasks.
• Availability to work the Monday to Friday 4pm to 1:30am shift; transport and shift allowances will be provided.
