Manager / Assistant Manager, Sustainability

Role Overview

The Manager or Assistant Manager in Sustainability will be responsible for conducting ESG gap analyses and benchmarking, supporting sustainability-related research, data analysis, and presenting findings effectively. This position will also involve researching and evaluating current ESG and sustainability trends and advising on their incorporation into business strategies and objectives. The manager will assist with sustainability reporting and monitoring of ratings requirements such as MSCI and CDP, while collaborating across the broader Sustainability team on various initiatives as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct ESG gap analysis and benchmarking exercises.
• Perform sustainability research, analyze ESG data, and prepare presentations.
• Track and recommend incorporation of up-to-date ESG and sustainability trends into corporate strategies and operations.
• Assist in the preparation of sustainability reports and support compliance with rating frameworks like MSCI and CDP.
• Provide general assistance and support to the Sustainability team on additional projects as required.

Candidate Qualifications

• Possession of a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in environmental studies, business, communications, or other sustainability-related disciplines.
• Demonstrated project management and coordination abilities to juggle several projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical aptitude coupled with proficient writing and presentation capabilities.
• Experience in preparing Sustainability Reports is a plus.
• Knowledge of Sustainability Reporting Standards such as ISSB and GRI, plus familiarity with governance frameworks and ESG rating systems like TCFD, MSCI, and Sustainalytics, would be advantageous.
