Management Consultant - Remote Contract

About the Role

This position is designed for experienced management consultants eager to contribute to advanced artificial intelligence research and evaluation projects. The main focus lies in assessing how proficiently AI systems execute real-world consulting tasks.

Instead of generating conventional client outputs, your consulting expertise will be utilized to establish benchmarks for excellent work, develop specific evaluation metrics for tasks, and critically assess completed work samples with thorough, reasoned written explanations.

Key Responsibilities

• Create precise and task-specific evaluation standards for consulting deliverables such as market analysis, strategic advice, financial models, client-facing presentations, and implementation plans.
• Analyze and rate both AI-generated and human-produced work samples using these evaluation standards.
• Provide comprehensive written justifications to explain decisions behind each score and assessment.
• Maintain consistent, evidence-based professional judgment to ensure evaluation reproducibility and defensibility.
• Evaluate consulting products for analytical depth, strategic insightfulness, accuracy, coherent structure, and client-readiness.
• Integrate feedback from senior reviewers and adjust evaluations accordingly.

Required Qualifications

• Over five years of professional experience in management consulting.
• Background in a leading strategy or management consulting firm like McKinsey, Bain, BCG, or similar top-tier organizations.
• Strong skills in structured problem solving, market sizing, financial modeling, business case development, and executive communication.
• Proficiency in assessing strategy proposals, quantitative analyses, and client-level presentations.
• Excellent written communication abilities capable of clearly articulating why deliverables meet or fail to meet professional consulting standards.
• High attention to detail, analytical thoroughness, and consistent sound judgment.
• Openness to structured feedback with capability to recalibrate evaluations to meet established standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in reviewing or evaluating consulting deliverables.
• Background mentoring consultants or assessing junior team output.
• Previous involvement in AI training, model evaluation, or projects involving human-data interaction.
• Experience across diverse industries, functions, or strategic challenges.

Compensation and Terms

• Competitive hourly remuneration ranging from $150 to $220.
• Weekly payment cycle.
• Engagement as an independent contractor.
