Management Consultant - AI Strategy and Implementation

Overview

We are recruiting on behalf of a client for a Senior AI Consultant, available either freelance or on a permanent contract basis. The consultancy is a strategy and organizational advisory firm collaborating with major global and notable mid-sized firms in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and life sciences sectors. Founded in 2009, the company integrates strategic insight with artificial intelligence technologies to support sustainable expansion, enhance operational efficiency, and create genuine competitive advantage. AI and data-driven innovation are core to their consulting philosophy, not mere trends.

Role Responsibilities

• Collaborate within consulting teams to address clients' strategic, organizational, and AI-centric challenges through remote and on-site engagements across domestic and international locations
• Identify and assess AI and Generative AI use cases to craft bespoke, actionable solution frameworks
• Conduct analysis of intricate problems and independently develop and execute innovative strategies and organizational solutions
• Manage distinct project modules and workstreams autonomously from conceptualization through deployment of AI initiatives
• Work closely with clients' technology and data teams to embed AI solutions within existing processes and structures
• Prepare influential, data-backed presentations targeting senior management audiences
• Contribute to the development of new concepts, tools, and thought leadership publications within the consultancy's Competence Centers, particularly focusing on AI and digital transformation

Qualifications and Skills

• Possess a master’s degree in business administration, natural sciences, computer science, or a related quantitative discipline
• Have a minimum of three years’ professional experience in management consulting or an equivalent environment
• Previous experience in designing and deploying AI or GenAI projects successfully, preferably in consulting or corporate settings
• Proficient with leading AI platforms and tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, and other generative AI or automation technologies; familiarity with Python or data analytic tools is considered a plus
• Exhibit strong analytical and entrepreneurial mindsets along with curiosity, teamwork orientation, and proactive initiative
• Fluent in both German and English at level C1, capable of confident communication with international stakeholders
• Skilled in commonly used MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, as well as modern collaboration and AI software
