Maintenance Officer

Role overview

MVO Marketing (S) Pte Ltd is looking for a Maintenance Officer based in Singapore to support the upkeep of its freezer truck fleet, office premises, and related equipment. The role focuses on planning maintenance activities, coordinating service work, and keeping records accurate and up to date.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and oversee preventive as well as corrective maintenance for freezer trucks, office facilities, and equipment.
• Work with drivers, the in-house technician, vendors, and contractors to ensure maintenance tasks are completed on schedule.
• Keep servicing and maintenance documentation current and properly filed.
• Handle GIA report filing and submit appeals for parking offences when required.
• Take on other duties assigned by the Head of Department.

Requirements

• Diploma/Polytechnic or ITE qualification in an engineering-related discipline, along with at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Candidate should be proactive, able to work on their own, and communicate well with people across different levels.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is needed.
• A valid Class 3 driving licence is required.
• Work schedule is 5.5 days per week.
• Class 4 driving licence is also mentioned as desirable/acceptable alongside Class 3.
• Basic knowledge or experience in any of the following would be useful: vehicle maintenance, building maintenance and workplace safety, CCTV, in-vehicle camera systems, and fleet GPS tracking systems.
