Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a globally recognized automation solutions company located near Bedford, England. This role offers a competitive salary with additional overtime opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on various automated machinery and equipment.
- Conduct Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) activities to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues including motors, inverters, sensors, and related components.
- Execute mechanical servicing and maintenance tasks.
- Carry out fault finding and repairs on Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
Requirements
- Possession of a recognized engineering qualification in electrical, electronic, or mechatronics disciplines.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance.
- Ability to work rotating shifts including early, late, and night shifts, each lasting 8 hours.
