Role Overview
We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer with manufacturing or industrial experience to join a leading multinational manufacturer based in Inverness, Scotland. This days-only position (8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday) offers tailored equipment training, a supportive work environment with career progression opportunities, and a competitive salary ranging from £50,000 to £55,000. The company is a prominent supplier of construction materials throughout the UK and Europe, handling the entire production cycle from raw materials to distribution.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform reactive and preventive mechanical maintenance to ensure machinery reliability.
- Maintain and repair automated manufacturing equipment through troubleshooting and servicing.
- Participate in a call-out rota on a 1 in 6 basis, compensated generously.
- Engage in tailored training programs to gain proficiency with company equipment.
Candidate Profile
- Experience as a Maintenance Engineer or similar role within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Willingness and ability to commute to the Inverness location.
- Motivated to pursue career advancement either into senior roles or positions beyond hands-on maintenance.
Additional Information
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
- Competitive salary: £50,000 - £55,000, with pay adjusted based on experience and qualifications.
