Role overview

An opportunity is open for a Logistics Specialist to help manage the daily flow of logistics activity, including shipments, inventory transfers, and operational tracking, in a fast-moving supply chain setting.

The position suits someone with 2 to 3 years of background in logistics, warehousing, transport, fulfilment, or broader supply chain work who is comfortable troubleshooting issues and keeping operations on track.

Key responsibilities

Manage the coordination of inbound and outbound shipments.
Monitor orders, stock movements, and delivery performance.
Work closely with carriers, third-party logistics providers, warehouse staff, and other internal teams.
Investigate and help resolve transport, shipment, and warehouse-related problems.
Keep inventory records accurate and up to date.
Assist with cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and maintaining inventory accuracy.
Prepare reports and analyse operational data to identify patterns and improvement opportunities.

Required background

Previous experience in logistics, transport, warehousing, fulfilment, or supply chain operations.
Solid understanding of shipment tracking, stock control, and order fulfilment processes.
Experience collaborating with carriers, 3PL partners, or warehouse teams.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills and comfort working with operational data.
Clear communication, strong organisation, and practical problem-solving ability.

Nice to have

Familiarity with warehouse management systems or transport management systems.
Exposure to SAP, Blue Yonder, or comparable platforms.
Experience handling international shipments or trade paperwork.
A qualification related to Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business.

Contract details

The assignment is offered at €200 per day and runs for 12 months. The role is remote within Ireland.
