Role Overview
We are looking for a diligent and proactive Logistics Executive to ensure the seamless functioning of our supply chain operations. This position involves overseeing multiple facets of logistics to help move products efficiently and cost-effectively from origin to destination.
Key Duties
- Oversee logistics activities for both inbound and outbound shipments.
- Collaborate effectively with suppliers, transporters, and clients to guarantee timely deliveries.
- Maintain inventory records and monitor stock levels diligently.
- Handle the preparation and processing of essential shipping documents such as bills of lading and invoices.
- Negotiate freight charges with transport carriers to secure favorable rates.
- Keep transportation expenses under review and pinpoint cost reduction opportunities.
- Address and resolve logistical challenges as they arise.
- Foster and maintain effective relationships with vendors and logistics providers.
- Keep abreast of the latest industry regulations and compliance standards.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 to 2 years of experience in logistics or a similar sector.
- Solid knowledge of logistics principles including warehousing, transportation, and inventory management.
- Strong skills in analysis and problem-solving.
- Capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Effective communication skills in both English and Chinese languages.
