Legal Advisor

Position Overview

This contract role for a Legal Advisor involves working remotely within the United States, committing between 10 and 40 hours per week. Compensation ranges from $140 to $245 per hour. The position entails providing expert legal insights, conducting detailed research, drafting and reviewing legal content, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough legal analyses on diverse topics related to United States law, offering detailed guidance.
• Engage in extensive legal research to support project needs and ensure up-to-date and precise information.
• Compose, examine, and revise legal documents such as memoranda, opinions, and contracts.
• Evaluate legal writings for clarity, correctness, and adherence to standards, supplying constructive feedback.
• Work remotely with cross-functional teams to improve project outputs and resolve complex legal issues.
• Support quality assurance efforts by detecting errors, inconsistencies, or ambiguous legal content.

Qualifications

• Possession of an active license to practice law in the United States coupled with strong academic achievements.
• Demonstrated expertise in legal analysis, research, and drafting across multiple legal areas.
• Outstanding written and oral communication abilities, proven through experience in reviewing legal materials.
• Experience collaborating remotely in multidisciplinary environments.
• Familiarity with quality assurance protocols and rubric-based assessment of legal documents is advantageous.
