Lead I - CICS Administration

Role Overview

We are seeking a candidate with over three years of experience to lead CICS administration tasks. This role requires proficiency in managing and configuring CICS systems, troubleshooting performance issues, and analyzing system dumps.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle SMPE operations effectively.
• Define CICS resources using tools such as RDO, CICS Explorer, and BAS.
• Configure and maintain CICS system environments.
• Identify and resolve incidents and problems.
• Conduct performance troubleshooting using Mainview, Omegamon, or similar tools.
• Analyze system dumps to diagnose issues.
• Work knowledgeably with programming languages including COBOL, Assembler, REXX, and SAS.

Skills Required

• In-depth knowledge of CICS Administration and SMPE.
• Experience with Mainframe environments.
• Strong problem-solving abilities in system and performance management.
• Familiarity with common mainframe programming languages.
