Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Land Surveyor for a major project in Dubai. This individual will work under the supervision of the Senior Highway Surveyor to support surveying activities related to expressway and interchange construction.

Core Responsibilities

  • Conduct survey tasks according to instructions from the Senior Highway Surveyor.
  • Establish horizontal and vertical control points and document reference ties for site re-establishment.
  • Accurately record measurements, rod readings, and calculations in field logs throughout project progress.
  • Collaborate with the contractor’s survey team to align on priorities and timelines.
  • Verify survey work by performing traverse closures and bench circuits for accuracy checks.
  • Report any technical discrepancies or issues to the Assistant Resident Engineer.
  • Participate in joint measurements for completed works and payment assessments.
  • Ensure survey equipment is maintained and calibrated regularly.

Required Expertise

  • Substantial experience with construction supervision on expressway projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of interchange and intersection construction.
  • Proficiency in modern survey software and equipment operation.
  • At least 10 years of relevant construction and supervisory experience, with strong familiarity with Dubai’s existing infrastructure network.
  • A minimum of a 7-year Diploma in Civil Engineering or Surveying is required; RTA/DM approvals are preferred.
