With over 630 employees across sites, workshops, and offices in Lincoln, Peterborough, and York, the group operates nationally. KGM Roofing is the roofing and cladding division of Lindum Group, serving a wide variety of sectors and partnering with clients, main contractors, and property managers.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Labourer to join the KGM Roofing team operating from Spalding, serving sites across the Midlands. This role involves working as part of a roofing gang that travels together to various locations. Candidates must reside in the Spalding or Bourne area for transportation to and from sites.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A valid CSCS card is essential for this position. While having an up-to-date card is advantageous, those without one will receive support to obtain it prior to employment; however, costs are to be covered by the applicant.
  • Previous construction site experience is required along with a basic understanding of site safety practices.
  • Possession of current Working at Height and/or Manual Handling certificates is preferable, though relevant training will be provided.
  • Comfortable working at heights under varying weather conditions using mobile access platforms and harnesses. A strong head for heights is critical.

Work Conditions and Benefits

  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be supplied.
  • Induction will be conducted at the Peterborough office; transport to and from sites will be arranged.
  • Work during the week involves overnight stays away from home, with board and lodging provided.
  • Regular site hours are Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.
  • A competitive salary package and benefits will be offered along with opportunities for professional growth and training.
  • The vacancy may close early if sufficient qualified candidates apply, so timely applications are encouraged.

Diversity and Inclusion

Lindum Group is committed to equal employment opportunities and invites applications from all qualified candidates.
