About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join the team at Fermain Valley Hotel & Spa, located in St Peter Port, Guernsey. This is a casual contract role with flexible hours based on business needs, including weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness and hygiene across all kitchen areas.
- Operate dishwashing equipment and clean kitchen utensils and equipment.
- Organize and maintain back-of-house areas ensuring they are orderly and well presented.
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation when required.
- Manage waste disposal following health and safety protocols.
- Help with stock control and organization of deliveries.
- Adhere strictly to food hygiene and workplace safety regulations.
Candidate Requirements
- Reliable and enthusiastic individual with a strong work ethic and team spirit.
- Previous kitchen porter experience preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Commitment to high standards of cleanliness and organizational skills.
- Positive attitude with proactive approach to supporting overall kitchen operations.
