Junior QA Tester

Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate Junior QA Tester to join our Frankfurt-based team to kickstart your career in quality assurance for game development. You'll collaborate with an experienced QA team alongside designers, programmers, artists, and producers to ensure the highest quality gaming experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute designated test cases and tasks, guided by senior QA members.
• Test newly developed features, content, gameplay systems, and bug fixes throughout the development cycle.
• Identify, reproduce, and document bugs clearly and accurately.
• Conduct regression testing to confirm fixes and maintain existing functionality.
• Learn and utilize QA tools, workflows, and testing methodologies implemented in game development.
• Keep precise records of testing activities and outcomes.
• Effectively communicate progress, inquiries, and obstacles within the QA team.
• Participate in team meetings, playtests, and development discussions when appropriate.
• Assist the wider QA team in upholding high quality standards across projects.

Additional Advantages (Not Mandatory)

• Previous exposure to quality assurance, game testing, or customer support roles.
• Familiarity with bug tracking software and QA procedures.
• Understanding of game development pipelines and production workflows.
• Experience using game editors, modding tools, or technical hobbies.
• Knowledge of the game "Hunt: Showdown."
• Basic scripting, programming, or troubleshooting skills.
• Fundamental knowledge of 3D modeling or game art pipelines.
