Junior IT Administrator

About the Role

Kernkompetenz-IT is currently seeking a Junior IT Administrator (m/w/d) to join their team. This position involves supporting customers both remotely and on-site, managing and maintaining server and network infrastructure locally and on the cloud, and providing first- and second-level support to various clients. The role offers interaction with exciting customers from diverse sectors with opportunities for specialization and independent project management.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide remote and on-site support to clients.
• Install and maintain local and cloud-based server and network infrastructure.
• Manage and monitor client systems, including data backups.
• Serve as the primary contact for first- and second-level support requests.
• Manage projects autonomously and maintain customer communication.

Profile Requirements

• Proficiency in common Microsoft technologies such as Windows Server, Active Directory, and MS365/Azure.
• Knowledge of networking and virtualization concepts.
• Understanding of firewalls and IT security protocols.
• German language skills at minimum level C1 and English language skills at minimum level B2.
