About the Role

ML Humanitaire is looking for a detail-focused Junior Data Analyst to join our team on a full-time basis. Key Responsibilities

• Gather, clean, validate, and organize datasets from diverse sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Analyze data to detect trends, patterns, and provide actionable insights for business operations.
• Create regular reports, dashboards, and clear data visualizations for stakeholders and management.
• Contribute to the development and upkeep of business intelligence reports and performance measure systems.
• Enable data-driven decision-making by delivering insightful analytical recommendations.
• Track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business outcomes.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses supporting operational, financial, marketing, and strategic projects.
• Work collaboratively across departments to comprehend reporting needs and business requirements.
• Ensure data integrity is maintained and adheres to data governance policies.
• Help automate reporting routines and improve processes associated with data collection and presentation.
• Document data provenance, methods, and reporting workflows thoroughly.

Qualifications

• Fundamental understanding of data analysis, statistical principles, and reporting frameworks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions like formulas, pivot tables, and chart creation.
• Basic familiarity with SQL for querying databases is preferred.
• Experience or exposure to visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Google Looker Studio is advantageous.
• Some knowledge of analytical programming languages like Python or R is a valuable plus.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically and solve problems efficiently.
