Junior Data Analyst

Overview

We are looking for an entry-level Junior Data Analyst who is meticulous, curious, and comfortable working with data to support reporting, analysis, and business intelligence activities. This role suits recent graduates or early-career professionals who want to turn raw information into clear insights that help guide business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather data from a range of internal and external sources, then clean, verify, and organize it for analysis.
• Study datasets to uncover trends, patterns, anomalies, and potential business opportunities.
• Build and update reports, dashboards, and visual representations that help teams make decisions.
• Track KPIs and other operational measures on an ongoing basis.
• Help create automated reporting methods and efficient data workflows.
• Support data quality efforts and maintain accuracy and integrity across business data.
• Partner with stakeholders to clarify reporting needs and business objectives.
• Prepare summaries, presentations, and recommendations based on analytical results.
• Contribute to ad hoc analysis, forecasting tasks, and performance tracking work.
• Work with teams across business, operations, finance, marketing, and technology to deliver data-backed insights.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through analysis and reporting.

Requirements

• Foundational understanding of data analysis, statistics, and reporting principles.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, charts, and data handling.
• SQL knowledge for extracting and querying data is preferred.
• Experience with visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, or similar platforms is an added advantage.
• Basic familiarity with databases, data structures, and business intelligence concepts.
• Exposure to Python, R, or comparable analytical tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking, critical reasoning, and problem-solving ability.
• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline is preferred.
