Role Overview
The Junior Community Manager will serve as the primary voice representing prominent cybersecurity brands such as ExpressVPN, CyberGhost, and Private Internet Access. This position entails fostering, engaging, and safeguarding community interactions on diverse social and review platforms. It suits a motivated, detail-driven individual passionate about digital privacy and eager to connect with users.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the brand's voice by embodying mission and values across platforms including Reddit, Trustpilot, Quora, and more.
- Develop and oversee a content calendar featuring posts for each brand, utilizing thought leadership, product updates, content, and marketing initiatives to actively engage community members and cultivate trust.
- Collaborate with Customer Support to promptly address user questions, feedback, and complaints, enhancing customer experience by sustaining rapid response rates.
- Moderate public discussions and forums to maintain and enhance brand reputation.
- Identify recurring customer concerns and insights to inform product development priorities.
- Work on boosting trust scores and expanding brand visibility on AI-driven search results and review platforms.
- Assist in tracking and analyzing response characteristics such as tone, sentiment, and timing alongside customer support teams.
Experience and Skills
- Fluent English communication with outstanding writing capability.
- 1 to 3 years experience in social media or community management, preferably in B2C contexts.
- Strong knowledge of major social channels, especially Reddit, and a keen interest in cybersecurity, VPNs, and IT.
- Ability to adapt to a high-speed global environment, largely remote.
- High emotional intelligence for engaging privacy-focused communities and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in cybersecurity, privacy, VPN, identity protection, or digital rights.
- Experience working cross-departmentally with product, support, and marketing.
- Familiarity with SEO strategies and performance marketing.
- Proficiency in additional European languages is advantageous.
