Role Overview

We are searching for an experienced IT Business Analyst to join our Enterprise Technology team. This pivotal position will act as the principal liaison between business units and Enterprise Technology, driving business engagement, managing technology intake, and gathering requirements to support initiatives that align with company priorities and ensure effective implementation. Your efforts will enhance collaboration, streamline planning, and contribute to delivering impactful technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain trusted relationships with business stakeholders to grasp departmental objectives, challenges, upcoming projects, and technology demands.
• Serve as the main contact for Enterprise Technology intake, guiding new technology requests through intake and assessment phases.
• Lead discovery meetings to uncover business issues, define goals, and document business and functional requirements.
• Assess technology requests for completeness, value, strategic alignment, and organizational effects prior to project inclusion.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Technology leadership on technology strategy, prioritization, and roadmap creation.
• Document business context, project scope, assumptions, requirements, and success metrics to prepare initiatives for effective planning.
• Facilitate conversations between stakeholders and Enterprise Technology to build consensus, clarify objectives, and enable informed technology decision-making.
• Communicate Enterprise Technology priorities, resolutions, and project updates to stakeholders, establishing clear expectations throughout planning.
• Recognize trends, recurring demands, and opportunities to improve business processes, technology services, and intake methods.
• Evaluate business outcomes, collect feedback, and suggest enhancements to strengthen engagement and service delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and facilitation capabilities.
• Strong analytical thinking, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience eliciting, documenting, and analyzing business requirements and processes.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with business and technical teams.
• Competent at managing multiple priorities within a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent written communication and documentation proficiency.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and business collaboration tools.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, Information Systems, or related disciplines preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in business analysis, project coordination, technology support, or equivalent roles.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and documenting workflows or business requirements preferred.
• Prior involvement in technology projects or business process improvements is a plus.
