Job Overview

Daley And Associates, LLC is seeking an entry-level Investment Operations Analyst to join their team in New York, NY. This contract-to-hire position offers a valuable chance to acquire practical experience in back and middle office operations within a top-tier investment management firm. The role involves working a standard 40-hour week with compensation ranging from $19 to $20 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed analysis of monthly fixed income portfolio asset reports for client accounts.
• Prepare and submit daily and monthly reconciliation reports of assets and cash for custodian banks.
• Track and manage cash flows, daily expenses, collateral holdings, and income receivables across client portfolios.
• Investigate and communicate discrepancies such as incorrect holdings and variances within accounts to banks; monitor futures, options, and swap reporting accurately.
• Utilize Bloomberg terminals to identify and research any portfolio mismatches between the firm and banks.
• Provide additional operational support as required by the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Economics with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• 0 to 1 year of experience, including internships.
• Skilled in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions like V-Lookups and Pivot Tables.
• Strong team player capable of working independently when needed.
• Genuine interest and enthusiasm for investment operations.
• Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, with effective interpersonal abilities.
• High attention to detail, well-organized, and motivated to learn.
